Graveside services will be Thursday June 4, 2026 at 12 PM at the Richardson Cemetery in Burns, TN with Pastor Wes Sesler officiating.
Wilma Jean Cathey, age 78 of Dickson, TN passed away Tuesday June 2, 2026. Born in Burns, TN on December 21, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Horace Clifton and Zelma Lee Swaw Cathey. She had worked as a Surgical Nurse and later as a Counselor for a Alcohol and Drug Rehab.
Survivors include her husband, James Banks; daughter, Rita Dotson; brother, George Cathey (Judy); grandchildren, Brenda & Ciera Dotson, Dana & Blaine Hart, William & Anneliese Dotson, great-grandchildren, Brooklyn & Kena Dotson, Jazzlynne & Tegan Harr, Daimon Dotson, honorary daughter, Angel Griffin and a special young man Wilma mentored, Isaiah Cross. She also had her great nieces Amanda Bryant mother of Kieara Cross and Isiah Cross, Christina Griffin mother of Dylan Weatherspoon, and Jolee and Kaitlyn Hedge, Cecilia Browning mother of Caydence and Julian Wilson. All whom she loved and adored.
