Pamela Isabel “Pam” Smith, age 78 of Dickson, TN died on June 23, 2026. There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at St. Patrick Catholic Church. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Dickson County.
Pam was born on January 11, 1948 in Lansing, Michigan. She was a daughter of the late Eddie Douglas Smith and the late Joslyn Scott Smith. As a young lady she gained people and organizational skills by working as a secretary for local companies such as Tennsco, former Dickson County Judge Andy Jackson, Cumberland Heights and New Life Lodge. She made a successful career as a real estate professional, surpassing 30 years. She was a realtor, broker and earned the GRI designation. She began her career in real estate working with ERA and retired from Parker Peery Properties. She loved living and working in Dickson. Pam was a former member and past president of the Dickson Good Morning Rotary Club, as well as a Paul Harris recipient. She was a graduate of Leadership Dickson County and participated in numerous community service activities such as the Dickson Co. Cancer Crusade Auction. Pam was a lover of pets, especially her little dogs. She also enjoyed gardening and working with the plants in her yard. Pam loved her family. In her own words, one of her greatest joys was “being a mother to my two sons and grandmother to my grandchildren.”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kirk Smith and a sister, Mary Smith.
Pam is survived by her two sons, Mark Parchman (Davelle) and Dan Parchman (Tonya); sisters, Donna Smith and Nancy Smith; brother, Eddie Smith; grandchildren, Joe, Little Dan, Kale, Landon, Owen, Chase, Blake and Josie; and 8 great grandchildren.
