A private celebration of life graveside service was held at Plainview Cemetery in Slayden, TN. James Savage gave the eulogy. Drew Colston, Cory Colston, Lee Martin, Sean Martin, Cody Ward, and Davis Hare served as casket bearers.

Betty Haneline Martin, age 83, of Dickson, TN, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on April 5, 1943, Betty lived a life defined by strength, resilience, kindness and devotion to those she loved. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose warm heart and caring spirit touched countless lives.
Betty found joy in life’s simple blessings, time spent with family, the TN Vols, home filled with love, the TN Vols and last but not least, the TN Vols. Her love and support were gifts to anyone fortunate to know her.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in all the memories, her impact on each of us and her legacy of love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Janie Hayes Haneline.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Judge Leonard Martin, her daughters, Janice Vetter (Scotty), Beth Middlecamp, her bonus children, Lee Martin, Sean Martin, Kitty Martin Schmidt, her grandchildren, Drew Colston, Cory Colston, Evan Broussard, Aiden Broussard, Lauren Vetter, many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers, hospice staff, friends and loved ones who provided support on this journey.
She was a blessing and a treasure. She will be forever missed beyond measure.
