Ms. Joyce Marie Buck Vaine, age 87 of Dickson, passed away on August 9, 2026, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Parks Chastain officiating. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
She was born on June 4, 1939, in Nashville, TN, to the late Rodney Buck and the late Jane Marie Malone Haskins. Joyce loved to spend time with family. She also loved to garden and feed or watch her hummingbirds. She could also often be found in her kitchen, either baking or eating.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Roland Jospeh Vaine; and her nine siblings.
Survivors include her children: Tammy Wright of Cedar Grove, TN, Jennifer Vaine (Samuel Luna) of Dickson, Joseph Vaine of Cedar Grove, and Joshua Vaine of Columbia. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
