Funeral services will be Monday August 17, 2026 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Tommy Marvin officiating. Place of rest will be in the Cumberland Furnace Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday August 16th from 4 to 8 Pm and on Monday from 1 PM until time of service. Those desiring memorials may be made to the Cumberland Furnace Cemetery.
Margaret Allen “Peggy” Hall, age87 of Cumberland Furnace, TN passed away Thursday August 13, 2026. Born in Augusta Maine on January 22, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Roger Durham and Rose Marie Roy Jackson and was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David Donald “Don” Hall; her daughter, Priscilla; her great granddaughter, Natasha; her brother, Albert Rowe Jackson and her sister, Susan Rose. Peggy and Don were the care takers of the Cumberland Furnace Cemetery for many years. She was a member of the former Cumberland Furnace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Scott A. Hall of Franklin, KY, Rose Anna Hall (Lloyd) of Cumberland Furnace, TN, David A. Hall of Johns Island, SC, Donald R. Hall (Amy) of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Priscilla “Kitty” DeVries of Concord, NH; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
