Funeral services for Mrs. Annetta Dean Yates, age 75 of Dickson were conducted Tuesday January 24, 2012 at 1 P.M. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Satchwill officiating. Place of rest is in the Union Cemetery. Annetta died Saturday January 21, 2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Burns, Tennessee she was the daughter of the late James Lucian and Gladys Mathis Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her son Jimmy Dean. She was a County Assistant Supervisor for the Farmers Home Administration Dept. of the U. S. Government where she worked for many years. Annetta was a member of the Pomona Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Buford Yates of Dickson, TN; son, William Dean and wife Vona of Dickson, TN; daughter, Debbie Daugherty and husband James R. of Burns, TN; step-son, Terry Yates of Burns, TN; four sisters, Edith Garton of Burns, TN; Rita Ballard of Nashville, TN; Becky Vanns of Nashville, TN; Nancy Able of Brentwood, TN; six grandchildren, Brian Daugherty; Brandon Daugherty; Brandi Dean; Austin Dean; Beth Redden; Tyler Redden; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
