Funeral services for Mr. Everett Y. Franklin, age 88 of Waverly, TN were conducted Sunday April 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest is in the Sanders Cemetery in Humphrey’s County. Mr. Franklin died Thursday April 12, 2012 at Waverly Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Humphrey’s County, he was the son of the late George Benjamin and Pearlie Susie Whitworth Franklin. He was retired from the State of Tennessee Highway Department where he worked in Maintenance. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Spann Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Franklin of Waverly; son, Larry Wayne Franklin and his wife Patricia of Waverly; daughter, Helen Faye Bush and her husband Eddie of Clarksville; sister, Georgia Rumsey of Waverly; grandchildren, Randal Bell, Jennifer Crump, Brandon Franklin, Tammy King; great grandchildren, Brittany Bell, Tyler Stokes, Madison Caruthers, Bradley King.
