Mr. John Lee, age 83 of Cumberland Furnace, TN died Friday, April 20, 2012 at his home. Survivors include his wife, Violetta Lee, Cumberland Furnace; three daughters, Loretta Marie Scroggins, Charlotte, TN, Connie Forsythe (Staley), Dickson, TN, and Bonnie Titre (‘T’), Cumberland Furnace; two brothers, Jimmy Lee (Imogene), Clarksville, TN, and George Lee (Rosie), Cumberland Furnace; one sister, Carrie Sherwood, Fayetteville, NC; eleven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and beloved pet, PeeWee. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Robert Scroggins, Jr. Funeral services for Mr. John Lee were held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. James Mackens and Bro. Leo Hagewood officiating. Interment followed in the Cumberland Furnace Cemetery.
