Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Nell Baker, age 81 of Dickson, TN were conducted 1:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2012 from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Jenkins and Rev. Paul Picard officiating. Place of rest is in the Baker Cemetery. Mrs. Baker, homemaker, died May 29, 2012 at NHC of Dickson. Born in Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Fred L. and Roxie Ann Ferguson Parker. She formerly worked at the pants factory in Dickson and later she worked as a home health provider.
She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her Son; Robert (Bobby) Baker, Her twin Sons; Ronald and Donald Baker, Her Daughter, Judy Duke, Her Brothers; Ernest, Harley, Hillard and Charlie Parker, Her Sister; Ruth Campbell. She is survived by her husband of 62 years; Ray Baker of Dickson, Tn, Her sons; Glenn Baker of McEwen, Tn, Ricky (Lisa) Baker of McEwen, Tn, Gary (Scarlett) Baker of Dickson,Tn Her Daughters; Edna (Harlon) Kirby of Dickson, Tn, Pam (Larry) Corlew of Dickson, Tn, Mary (Jon) Harris of Dickson, Tn, Wanda Heggie and Eugene of Lyles, Tn Loretta (Ethon) Stanford of Franklin, Tn and Tammy ( Jeff) Eleazer of Dickson, Tn, Her Brother; Jim Parker of Centerville, Tn , Her 24 Grandchildren, Her 27 Great Grandchildren.
