Mrs. Dean Holt, age 85 of Bon Aqua, TN and widow of the late Sterling Holt, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at her home. Funeral services for Dean Holt were conducted Tuesday afternoon, June 26, 2012 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest is in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Born in the Petway Community of Cheatham County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Clayton and Beulah Mai Story Reed. Dean was a homemaker, farmer and worked with her late husband in the family business, the former Holt’s Produce in Dickson. She was preceded in death by three brothers; James, Mack and Marshall Reed and her two sisters; Estelle McEwen and Bea Roland.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include Her Son, Jerry Gibbs of Bon Aqua, TN; Her grandson, Sean Gibbs; and her Great Granddaughter, Katie Gibbs; Her sisters, Catherine Puryear of Decherd, TN, May Gibbs Gibson of Nashville, TN, Hester Mans of Tulsa, OK and Ester Sesler of Dickson, TN; Several nieces and nephews.
