Graveside services for Mrs. Virginia Ruth Hayes Weaver, age 77 of Slayden were conducted Saturday June 30, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Hayes Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Minor officiating. Mrs. Weaver died Tuesday June 26, 2012 at her home. A native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Florence Davis Fuller Hayes and was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Weaver. She was a retired bookkeeper for Horizon Medical Center and was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Edward Davis and Nicole Rivas Weaver of Slayden; daughter, Rita Fay Nelson of Slayden; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
