Earnestine Carpenter, age 72 of Dickson, died late Friday November 9, 2012. Funeral services for Earnestine Carpenter were conducted Monday November 12, 2012 at 11 A.M. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Baumgartel officiating. Burial followed in the Moss Cemetery in Hickman County. She was the daughter of the late Earnest and Oley Clayton Carpenter.
She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Stoney King and daughter, Gina King. She was a member of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her five daughters, Lisa Millwood of Blairsville, GA; Nina King of Blairsville, GA; Lina Childers and husband, Tracy of Ranger, GA; Dina Binkley and husband Mark of Linden, TN; Sherry Sligh of Dickson, TN; three brothers, Billy Ray Carpenter of Griffin, GA; Arthur Carpenter of Georgia; Gene Carpenter of Georgia; one sister, Rachel Caldwell of Riverdale, GA; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
