Graveside services for Mr. Howard P. Tucker, age 89 of Dickson w ill be conducted Thursday July 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Dickson Union Cemetery with George Caudill officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Disease. Services are under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Mr. Tucker died Tuesday July 9, 2013 at St. Thomas Hospital. A native of Dickson County, he was the son of the late George P. and Della Mae Wall Tucker and was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Etta “Dixie” Tucker. He was a retired Rural Mail Carrier and was a U. S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Sylvia Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Amber D. Proctor and her husband Mike of Nashville; brother, Horace Tucker of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Lucy Bryant of Dickson; niece, Penny Lankford; 1 step-grandson; 1 step-great grandson.
