Larry Allen “Coon” Cathey, age 60 died August 9, 2013. Visitation will beheld Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 2 PM until 8 PM and on Monday August 12, 2013 beginning at 12 noon until the time of service. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, August 12, 2013 at 3 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Green officiating. Place of rest will be in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. For those desiring, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice.
Larry was born in Dickson County November 14, 1952 to the late Elbert (Cap) and Gladys Fisher Cathey. He loved woodworking and being outside, grilling with his family and friends and joyriding with Joyce. Most people who met “Coon” loved him and enjoyed sharing a good laugh and conversation with him. He was one you would never forget, bringing love and joy to the lives of many.
Survived by his wife, Joyce; Son, Brad; Daughter in law, Shannon; and grandbabies, Avery and Braydon, who loved him dearly. He was a wonderful brother to William, Roger Dale and Carolyn; loved also by many nieces and nephews.
