Funeral services for Mr. Gilbert Dwayne Anderson, age 63 of Springfield, TN will be Sunday September 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Baumgartel officiating. Place of rest will be in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday September 28th from 3 to 8 PM and on Sunday from 12 PM noon until time of service. Services are under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Mr. Anderson died Wednesday September 25, 2013 at St. Thomas Mid-town. Born in Dickson County, he was the son of the late Lee Andrew Jefferson and Ethel Mae Forsythe Anderson. He had worked as a Machinist.
Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Lawson of Gainesboro, TN; step-daughters, Stephanie Turner of Madison, Angie Speakman of Portland, TN; brother, Lester Anderson of Lebanon, TN; 5 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 1 great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
