Mrs. Mamie Harris Plunk, age 104 died Friday, August 8, 2014 at NHC of Dickson after a lengthy stay. A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Mamie Plunk was conducted Monday August 11, 2014 at 12 noon at Dickson County Memorial Gardens with Randy Spurlock officiating.
She was born August 26, 1909 in Hickman County, Tennessee. She was a Daughter of the late William Meredith Harris and the late Ada Hinson Harris. She was the widow of the late William Odis Plunk. She retired from Alabama Christian College as print shop manager and bookkeeper.
Survivors include her Son, Wayne Plunk and his wife, Betty of Bon Aqua, TN; her 5 grandchildren; her 14 great grandchildren; and her 5 great great grandchildren.
