Imogene Tummins, age 68 of McEwen, TN died on December 31, 2014. A funeral service was held Saturday, January 3, 2014 at 2pm at the Hurricane Freewill Baptist Church. Place of rest is in the Fews Chapel Cemetery.
She was born September 24, 1946 in Humphreys County. She was a Daughter of the late Willie Henry Tummins and the late Lola Lee Berryman Tummins. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lonnie Tummins Jr., also known to many as “Bounce Tummins”; 2 Brothers, Bobby and Delmar Tummins. Imogene worked as a beautician for many years and was a dedicated member of the Hurricane Freewill Baptist Church. She loved her Grandsons very much and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her 2 Daughters, Kelley Ross and her Husband, Keith of McEwen, TN, and Misti Taylor and her Husband, Jason of Lebanon, TN; Sisters, Betty Ann Potter (Charles), Rhonda Tummins (Robert); 4 Brothers, Charlie Tummins (Nancy), Buddy Tummins (Naomi), Tony Tummins (Rita), Ray Tummins (Sherry); 6 Grandchildren, Noah, Cade, Luke, Jase Henry, Owen, and Beau; Several Nieces and Nephews.
