Thomas Philip Gilbert, age 67 of Dickson, died March 3, 2015 while in Somerton, Arizona. A visitation will be held at Taylor Funeral Home on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 11 a.m. until funeral service with military honors at 1 p.m. His remains will be cremated following the service.
Born in Dexter, Maine, Mr. Gilbert was the son of the late Leo and Evelyn Maria Larachele Gilbert. He retired from the United States Marine Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Gilbert, Dickson; three children, Diane Gann, Valerie Burgess (and Tommy), and Thomas Gilbert (and Megan), all of Dickson; three sisters, JoAnn Downar, Dexter, ME, Louise Lee and Debbie Gilbert, both of Kansas; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
