Funeral services for Mr. John Michael “Mike” Phillips will be Monday March 16, 2015 at 4 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Larry Williams officiating. Place of rest will be in the McElhiney Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday March 15th from 4 to 8 PM and on Monday from 10 AM until time of service.
Mr. Phillips died Thursday March 12, 2015. Born in Nashville, he was the son of the Henderson and Geraldine Hindman Phillips and was preceded in death by his step-mother Mildred Phillips. Mike worked as a Mechanic and was a Jack of All Trades. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and attended Crossroads Fellowship Church in Clarksville.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Manley Phillips of Dickson; son, Henderson Phillips of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Joyce McKain (Chuck) of Clarksville; grandson, Mason McKain; brothers, David Doak of Fairview, Doug Phillips of Joelton, Anthony Phillips of Clarksville; sister, Charlotte Roberts of Dickson; several nieces and nephews.
