Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara June “Bobbie” Biggs, age 80 of White Bluff will be Wednesday April 22, 2015 at 12 PM noon at First Apostolic Church, 265 Broadmoor, Nashville, TN 37207 with Pastor Dee Jay Shoulders and Bishop Billy Dee Shoulders officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday April 21 st at the Church from 3 to 8 PM on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Biggs died Sunday April 19, 2015. Born in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Horace Eugene and Mary Leona Hill Denton and was preceded in death by her son, Joseph “Joe” Biggs. She had worked in Food Services for the Dickson County School System and at Krystal. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Nashville.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny “JB” Biggs of White Bluff; sons, Freddy Biggs (Claudette) of Dickson, David Biggs (Sandy) of Louisville, TN; daughter, Debbie Harrell (Phillip) of White Bluff; brothers, Ronald Denton (Nancy) of Cabot, AR, Donald Denton (Francis) of Hendersonville; sisters, Margaret Artnez of Nashville, Addie Ruth Epps of Ashland City; 8 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren.
