Britt Leann Wachter, born November 30, 1969 to Udo and Barbara Duncan Wachter, passed from this earth on March 11, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father Udo Wachter, her grandparents Charles Thomas and Pauline Mathis Duncan, and Hans and Berta Wachter.
She is survived b y her mother Barbara Duncan Wachter and her sister Brandy Liana Wachter, son David Mitchell Guire and his girlfriend Tasha, daughters Bethany Guire England (Adam), and Danielle General Smithson (Joseph), grandsons Alexander Guire and Jace England, and dear friend Donald Rich. The grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved her family and fought a brave battle against cancer to be able to spend as much time on this earth with them as possible. She was deeply touched by the concern and support provided by her ex-husband James Cook.
Britt was a life-long resident of Dickson and worked for many years in restaurant management in Dickson and Nashville. The past two years she was employed at Con Agra in Dickson where she had many supportive friends. Their efforts on her behalf were deeply appreciated.
Visitation is Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Tommy Marvin officiating. Interment will follow at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
