Larry Gene Junkins of Burns, TN passed away at home on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016.
Larry was survived by his wife, Vivian, two sons, David (Kim) and Kaley (Shelby), grandson, Steven and grand-daughter, Elysse, as well as his sisters Nancy and Jodi.
Larry was born in Tuscola, IL in 1944 to Billy and Francis Junkins. He graduated from Clinton Community High School in 1962. He attended Midwest Christian College for two years where he met his wife, Vivian. Larry’s lifelong passion was music and he moved his family to Nashville, TN in 1982 to pursue a career as a songwriter.
Larry’s family will be having a private service for immediate family members.
