Funeral services will be Friday March 31, 2017 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Michael Pickford and Bro. John Lankford officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday March 30, 2017, from 3 to 8 PM. Those desiring memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Betty Jewell Wilkerson, age 76 of Dickson, TN died Tuesday March 28, 2017. Born in Summertown, TN she was the daughter of the late Andrew Harrison and Dora Katherine Foster Gray and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Wilkerson. She had worked as a Machine Operator for Horace Small and later for HIS. She was a member of the Colesburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Dewayne Wilkerson (Regina) of Dickson; daughter, Lisa Christian (Todd) of Burns; brother, Joel Gray (Katherine) of Summertown, TN; sisters, Alvie Pickford and Linda Henderson both of Lawrenceburg, TN, Sue Novogurski (Rich) of Hohenwald, TN; grandchildren, Brannon Wilkerson (Alicia), Ashley Wilkerson, Ella Christian, Lily Christian; great grandson, Keeton Wilkerson; several nieces and nephews.
