AVCM (AW) Jerry D. Frank USNR R, age 72 of Dickson, TN died Sunday April 9, 2017. Graveside services will be Wednesday April 12, 2017 at 1 PM at the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday April 11th from 4 to 8 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.
Born in Maryville, TN, resided in Dickson, TN for 7 years and previously of Jupiter, FL. He was the son of the late Howard Denton and Jean Burns Frank. Master Chief Frank served 4 years in the Marine Corps and 24 years in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Jerry had worked as an Engineer Technician for Florida Power and Light and for a Material & Evaluation Laboratory. In his retirement, he enjoyed amateur radio. He was a volunteer examiner and loved to teach and help new “hams”. His call sign is NM9U. Jerry was also very active with the Tennessee Phone Net.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sena A. Frank of Dickson, TN; daughters, Kimberly Graham of Fort Pierce, FL, Michelle Sloan (Edwin) of Ashland City, TN, Sena Loraine Brickwedel of West Palm Beach, FL; granddaughter, AC1 Ashley Graham of Yokosuka, Japan.
