A gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 4-8pm at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 10am on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Services will conclude with Navy Military Honors
Mr. Vetter was born on May 31, 1927 to the late Benjamin Franklin and Alva Ethel Green Vetter. He is preceded in death by his wife, Odell Blaylock Vetter; and brothers Earl, Adrian, Glen, and Laymon Vetter; his sister, Lorene Lucille Jones.
He is survived by his daughters, Benda Vetter Lay and Glenda Vetter of Dyersburg, TN; brother, Harold Vetter of Adamsville, TN; grand-daughter, Marcy Gossett (Troy) of Murfreesboro, TN and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Mr. Vetter served our country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a pastor in the Church of Christ for over 60 years. He worked at Dickson Electric and for many years at Dyersburg Electric Systems where he retired.
