Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. John Lankford and Bro. Alex Ogden officiating. Interment will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held from 2:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 and from 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday at Taylor Funeral Home.
Paula Irene Schreiner Smith – Age 71 of Dickson, TN passed away on January 12, 2019 at National Healthcare Dickson.
She was born in Akron, Ohio on June 8, 1947 to the late, Paul E. and Ruth Greathouse Schreiner. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Darla Dorris.
Paula was a loving, funny, and kind person. She would light up a room. She never disliked anyone and never made a stranger. It was said, that if she met someone, she would have them laughing within 5 minutes. Richard said the moment he saw her, he knew he had seen the love of his life. She and her late sister Dorris had a great appreciation for the music of Patsy Cline
Mrs. Smith was a member of Colesburg Church of Christ. She retired as a mortgage department manager with SunTrust Bank.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 34 years, Richard Arvin Smith of Dickson; daughter, Laura Sprinkles and her husband Bubba of Dickson; son, Will Lewis and his wife Shannon of Dickson; grandchildren, Kristin Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Cal Lewis and Railey Lewis; great-grandson, Noah Talley and niece, Kelly Barrett of Gulf Shores, Alabama.
