Memorial services will be Saturday March 16, 2019 at 1 PM at the Sylvia Church of Christ with Bro. Edgar Beard and Bro. Darrell Tummins officiating. Interment will follow in the Southerland Cemetery. Those desiring memorials may be made to the Sylvia Church of Christ.
Mrs. Joye Hill Story, age 83 of Charlotte, TN died Thursday March 7, 2019. Born in Dickson County she was the daughter of the late Floyd Allen and Allea Judd Johnson Hill and was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lovell Harrison Story, her son-in-law, Jeff Holman and her brother, Barry Hill. Joye worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Jere Bass and was a member of the Sylvia Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald Story of Charlotte, TN, Monty Story (Donelle) of Charlotte, TN; daughters, Lovetta Holman of Charlotte, TN, Mona Dunn (Steve) of Dickson, TN, Angela Spears (Mike) of Burns, TN; sister, Karene Moore of Dickson, TN; 8 grandchildren, Jeremy Holman, Josie Sinner, Jenna Ellis, Cory Dunn, Maleaha Cochran, Taylor Story, Kelsey Story, Grace Story; 9 great grandchildren, Zachary, Hayden, & Ella Sinner, Jayden Holman, Madison, Bryan, & Brylea Ellis, Coby Cochran, Weston Dunn; several nieces and nephews.
