Funeral services will be Saturday August 17, 2019 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Leslie Chapman and John Dodson officiating. Place of rest will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday August 16th from 3 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 11 AM until time of service.
Mr. Woodrow Wilson Dodson, age 84 of Kingston Springs, TN passed away Monday August 12, 2019. Born in White Bluff, TN he was the son of the late, Cam F. and Augusta Cathey Dodson and was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Sullivan Dodson. Woodrow retired after 39 years with the Department of Employment Security, he was an Auditor for the State of Tennessee. He was a member of the West View Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, John W. Dodson (Jennifer) of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Sherri McClelland (Ray) of Nashville, TN, Terri Atkins (Mark) of Nashville, TN; brothers, Homer R. Dodson of Kingston Springs, TN, Cam F. Dodson, Jr. of Dickson, TN; sister, Marie Henderson of Kingston Springs, TN; grandchildren, Daniel Boyd (Kristin), Nicole Brunson (Rob), Taylor Atkins (Cindy), Shelby Dodson, Lauren Dodson, Ryan Dodson; great grandchildren, Alex Boyd, Belle Brunson, Miles Atkins, Sofia Atkins, Kaiden Boyd, Sam Brunson.
