Funeral services for Richard L. “Ricky” Myatt, age 65, of Dickson will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Luther officiating. Interment will follow in the Dugan Cemetery in Pomona. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 31st from 5 until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time. Ricky died Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Dickson Health and Rehab.
Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, Ricky was the oldest child of Nancy L. Kingery Myatt and the late Dickie L. Myatt. He received his education in the Dickson County school system, attending Burns Elementary and Dickson High School. He was an iron worker by trade and the father of one son.
Survivors include his mother, Nancy Myatt, Dickson; his son, Ricky D. Myatt, Dickson; a brother, Phil Myatt (Vickey), Ashland City, TN; and his sister, Cindy Crotts, Panama City Beach, FL.
