Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Alexander, age 49 of Antioch, formerly of Dickson, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with family and friends officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Charlotte. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice. Jerry died Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Southern Hills Medical Center, Nashville.
Born in Dickson in 1970, Jerry was one of a set of twins born to Frank Alexander and the late Patricia McClelland Alexander. He graduated from Dickson County High School where he participated in the band program and in the choir. For most of his adult life, he worked in medical billing.
Survivors include his life partner, Jason Wolf, Antioch; father and step-mother, Frank and Jean Alexander, Dickson; brothers, twin Robert Alexander, Dickson; Michael Alexander (Michelle), Dickson; sister, Angie Harrison (Randall), Munford, TN; step-brother, Bradley Tidwell (Tammy), Bon Aqua; step-sisters, Hazel Wadkins, Dickson, Shawna Brown (David), Dickson, and Michelle Brown, Bon Aqua; 19 nieces and nephews.
