A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Wilkerson officiating. Place of rest will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Bon Aqua, TN. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Sarah Magadlene Thompson Tidwell, age 79 of Dickson, TN died on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Horizon Medical Center.
Mrs. Tidwell was born April 10, 1940 in Dickson, TN. She was a daughter of the late Gerald Eugene Thompson and Clara Mai Bryant Thompson. She had worked as a cook in local nursing home and hotel businesses. She loved flowers and flower gardening. Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by her husband, Gena Tidwell.
She is survived by her daughter, Norma Lowry of Bon Aqua, TN; her son, Kerry Tidwell of Dickson, TN; her brother, Gerald Thompson of Bon Aqua, TN. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Warf, Wendy Tidwell, Chris Lowry, and Amanda Lowry; great grandchild, Hailey Warf; special friend, Bobby Williams
