A visitation and memorial service for Ralph Eugene Locke, age 72 of Dickson will be Saturday, February 15, 2020 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. until service time. The memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Adrian McFarlin officiating. Ralph died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 11th at St. Thomas, Midtown. Memorials are suggested to the church or charity of your choice.
Born in Nashville, Ralph was the son of the late Howard R. and Lura Hutchenson Locke. He was married for nearly 52 years to his wife, Martha Sue Coleman Locke. Ralph worked as a tool and die maker for the former Schrader Automotive Division of Scoville Mfg. Co. After Schrader’s closed, he worked as a truck driver for A-1 Sign Company and for Delta Casket Company. His hobbies were CB radios and collecting Jim Beam memorabilia.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Sue “Susie” Locke, Dickson; his three daughters, Tammy A. Locke Jones (Jeff), Pam Balthrop (Jerry), all of White Bluff, and Lura Aline Locke, Dickson; nine grandchildren, Dale, Tyler, Hunter, Logan, Lucas, Shelton, Adison, Jalen, and Gavin; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Eli.
