A CHANGE OF THE PLACE OF SERVICE FOR MICKEY, WILL NOW BE A GRAVESIDE SERVICE held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Corlew Cemetery. He will be laid to rest next to his father. Visitation with family will be held on Friday, August 7th between 6:30 and 8:30 PM.

James Michael “Mickey” Shelton, Sr. age 73 of Carefree, Indiana, passed away July 8, 2020. Mickey was born on February 2, 1947 in Dickson, Tennessee to the late James Ellison Shelton and the late Helen Elizabeth Spann Shelton.
He had resided in the Carefree, Indiana area for many years. Mickey was raised in Dickson and attended Dickson High School. He worked for many years in construction.
Mickey is survived by his son, James Michael Shelton, Jr., three brothers, Jerrell W. Shelton, Jackson D. Shelton and John B. Shelton and one sister, Regina Morris. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Pam, and his daughter, Jamie Michelle.
