A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Cemetery on Collier Bend Rd. in Charlotte, TN with Pastor Antonio Collier officiating. Visitation with the family will take place on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home.
Charles Edward Majors, age 65 of Charlotte passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was born on March 11, 1955 in Cheatham County, Tennessee.
He accepted Christ early in his life. He was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Charlotte where he served on the Deacon Board.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Majors; and his parents: Wilford and Emma Collier.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories and will be truly missed by his devoted friend: Karene Heath; his stepmother: Odessa Darden; his sons: Chris Elliott (Brittany), Damion Heath (Kim), and Steven Heath; his daughter: Pamela Hazelitt; sisters: Brenda Harper (Lawrence), Cassie Williams (Donnie), Willa Bell, Elsie Sweat, and Caroline Collier; brothers: Timothy Collier (Judy), Marty Collier (Kim), Lamont Collier (Sarah), Ralph Collier (Dorothy), Dale Outlaw (Julie), Murray and Allen Sweat; great aunts: Janie and Willie Mae Vaughn; special friends: Carlee Bell and Son Bell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
