Visitation only will take place with the family on Saturday, May 15 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. For those desiring, Memorials can be made to Wounded Warriors or Disabled American Veterans.
Jackie Wright Banks, age 82 of Dickson, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 18, 1938 in Centerville, TN to the late Jack and Bessie Jacobs Banks. He worked for many years for Vulcan Materials as an Open Pit Miner. He also attended the Calvary Chapel Church.
In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by his wife of over 58 years: Katie Cavender Banks.
Survivors include his sons: David W. Banks (Kimberley) of White Bluff, TN and Randall L. Banks (Terri) of Dickson, TN; his daughters: Gloria A. Banks of Dickson, TN and Jacquelyn R. Jones (Darron) of White Bluff, TN; his brother: James Banks of Bon Aqua, TN; his sisters: Elizabeth Lewis of Dickson, TN and Ann Wren of Gladeville; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
