Franklin Hawkins Jr., age 83 of White Bluff, TN died on January 28, 2022. He was born July 14, 1938 in Nashville, TN. For a number of years, he served as a firefighter with the Air National Guard. He was employed as a lithographer for 40 years at Taylor Impression Inc. in Nashville, TN. Franklin was a member of the White Bluff Church of Christ for the last 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Sneed Hawkins and Margaret Inman Hawkins; and his daughter-in-law, Hollie Hawkins.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his wife, Linda Hawkins; his three children, Greg Hawkins, Susan Horne (Darryl), and Matt Hawkins (Kim); 8 grandchildren, Clay Hawkins (Ashlyn), Colton Hawkins, Connor Hawkins, Justin Adams (Kimmee), Hallie Horne, Hayden Horne, Maverick Hawkins, Sydney Hawkins; great grandchildren, Evy Adams, Brody Adams, Mathis Hawkins, Myatt Hawkins.
A graveside will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Dickson County Memorial Gardens with Connor Hawkins speaking. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Leatherwood in care of White Bluff Church of Christ.
