Hardy Leonard Hassell, age 77, of Dickson, TN, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 23, 2022. In honor of his wishes, Mr. Hassell was cremated, and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date for immediate family.
Mr. Hassell was born on July 6, 1944, in Centerville, TN. Mr. Hassell was a hardworking entrepreneur, loving husband and dedicated father. Mr. Hassell was a veteran of the United States Army. He started H & H Cartage in the early 70’s and started TRA International in the early 80’s which later became Dyna-Brite Lighting, with several locations across the United States.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Inez Lottie Miller, his stepfather; Chuck Bomar and daughter; Theresa Darlene Hassell.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years; Shirley Marie Hassell, siblings; Earl Dean Hassell (Margaret), Leslie Lee Hassell (Wanda), children; Cheryl Lynn Hassell (Andrew), Tracy Ann Mathis, Daniel Alan Hassell (Rachel), Kevin Scott Hassell (Cassey), Kristen Marie Hassell and 9 grandchildren.
