Amy Lee Yates Morgan, age 88, of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on April 23, 2022.
Amy was born on November 29, 1933 in Dickson, TN to the late Granville and Aileen Yates. Amy attended Austin Peay State University, where she met her loving husband Tom and worked many years, later retiring from Farm Credit Services. Amy was a longtime member of Sango United Methodist Church. She adored spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Days spent at her Leatherwood home on the lake were some of her favorites, and she loved tending to her flowers and plants.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Morgan, daughter Cindy Pack, as well as Cindy’s husband Roger Pack.
Amy is survived by her daughters, Lisa Mullins (Joe), Tammi Maxwell (Paul), and her grandchildren, Mael and Leslie Pack and McKenzie and Lake Mullins, brother Gray Yates, sisters, Wanda Daniel and Loretta Owen.
The family would like to thank Pennyrile Hospice for taking wonderful care of her. Amy was a faithful giver to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. For those desiring, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Union Cemetery in Dickson, TN at 1:00 p.m. Bro. Dane Van Eys will be officiating.
