Funeral services will be Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Collins and Bro. Harold Batson officiating. Place of rest will be in the St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday May 11th from 12 PM until time of service.
Mrs. Lina Bell Matheny, age 86 of Dickson, TN passed away Sunday May 8, 2022. Born in Dickson County she was the daughter of the late Lee and Mary Nola Hayes Batey and was preceded in death by her husband, Ealon Jerome Matheny; her son, Ronald Jerome “Ron” Matheny. Lina worked as a cashier for Kroger’s and Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Dickson Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Becky Durlock of Centerville, TN; 3 grandchildren, Ealon Matheny (Denise) of Lyles, TN, Christina Mays of Dickson, TN, Stephanie Duncan (Barton) of Lyles, TN; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
