Graveside services will be Wednesday August 3, 2022 at 11 AM at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Wes Sesler officiating.
Ruth Mae Ragsdale, age 85 of Bon Aqua, TN passed away Sunday July 31, 2022. Born in Williamson County she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Luella A. Anglin Beard and was preceded in death by her husband, James Ragsdale; daughter, Shirley J. Ragsdale; brothers, Delmer and J.T. Beard; sisters, Pauline Martin and Florence Anderson; son-in-law, Harry Marlin. She retired from the Department of Forestry where she first started as working as a Look Out in the Fire Towers and later she worked in the office doing clerical work. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sons, Darrell R. Ragsdale (Susan) of Dickson, TN, Ricky D. Ragsdale (Ashley) of Tuscaloosa, AL; daughter, Peggy J. Marlin of Bon Aqua, TN; brother, Ottis Beard (Marie) of Old Hickory, TN; 5 grandchildren, Chelsea Marlin, James Ragsdale, Cody Ragsdale, Ashton Ragsdale, Jacob Ragsdale; 7 great grandchildren.
