Doris Jeannette Ashley Eldridge, age 78 of Dickson, TN died on August 7, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Doris was born December 2, 1943 in Sebring, Florida. She was a daughter of the late Hugh Ashley and Sally J. Williams Ashley. Doris had worked locally as a sales associate for the Goodwill store. She was dependable, helpful, and enjoyed meeting the people of her community. The Ford Mustang was her vehicle of choice, and she had enjoyed driving them for many years. Doris was a spontaneous, caring and fun-loving happy person. She was a good mother and a devoted grandmother that loved life and her family.
In addition to her parents Doris is preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Eldridge.
Doris Eldridge is survived by her two daughters, Lynn Whitaker, and Jennifer Lee Eldridge Carter; her grandchildren, Bradley Whitaker, Lauren Whitaker, Kayla Whitaker, Larissa Carter Romine, Lauri Carter, and Jaydon Carter; and a grandchild, Mace Romine.
