Homegoing services will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Adrian McFarlin and Bro. David Bragg officiating. Burial will follow in the Tidwell Cemetery in Bon Aqua. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service, also at the funeral home. Ms. Joyce D. Hale McFarlin, age 83, of Burns, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2023, at Centennial Medical Center of Nashville. She was born in Davidson Co. on November 13, 1939, to the late Rev. Selmer L. and Daisy M. Farmer Hale. She was a member of the Lyles United Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph McFarlin; and her siblings: Edmond F. Hale, Leonard Eugene Hale, Dorothy Mae Shelton and Hester Morgan.
Survivors include her sons: Tony R. McFarlin (Renee) of Burns, and Adrian D. McFarlin (Lisa) of Bon Aqua; her brothers: Jerry T. Hale of Burns and Kenneth D. Hale of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren: Brian McFarlin (Yvonne), Andrea Wyatt (Vandy), Jared McFarlin, and Derek McFarlin (Olia); and her great-grandchildren: Doriann, Braylee, McKenzie, Jaylin, and Kamryn.
