Funeral services for Carol Anne Gilmore Story will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 2:00PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Pastor Wes Sesler will officiate the service. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 1:00PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Alive Hospice Nashville.
Carol Anne Gilmore Story, age 79 of Nashville, TN, formerly of Dickson, TN, passed away on August 9, 2023.
Anne was born in Vanleer, TN on May 29, 1944, to the late James Preston Gilmore and Mary Louise Lee Gilmore. She enjoyed a wonderful childhood on the family farm on Cedar Creek Road. Anne was a graduate of Charlotte High school, class of 1962. She was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Her joy and passion for Jesus was obvious to all that knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; Bob Gilmore, her sister; Sara (Frank) Rogers.
She is survived by her children; Todd (Lanell) Story, Jim (Denise) Story, grandchildren; Chris (Clair), Micheal, Mckenzie, great grandchild; Emma, nephew; Robert (Dawn) Rogers, and her precious Yorkie, Angel.
