Lucinda Ann Simms Henson, age 61 of Bon Aqua, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29, 2024.

Family and friends will assemble for a graveside service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Dickson County Memorial Gardens, 3230 Hwy 70 East, Burns, TN 37029. A visitation with the family will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will not be a visitation on Thursday. For those desiring, memorials may be made to Kenneth Copeland Ministries at KCM.org in honor of Lucinda Henson.

Lucinda was born on November 9, 1962 in Nashville, TN. She was a daughter of Betty Louise Hill Simms and the late John M. Simms. In December of 1988, she joined in marriage to Bryan Henson. Lucinda was a faithful, employee of the Dickson Sportsmans’ Store for more than 20 years, and of Cumberland Watersports for 7 years. She was an integral part of CrossFit Engage, helping her son, Colton fulfill a dream. Lucinda always had projects going at home and loved supervising as well as working on them. Her main projects were loving on her family. In addition to Colton, she enjoyed being Gigi to Christa’s children and supporting Camryn at cheerleading events. Lucinda spent many years following Bryan and enjoying his high school bands at games and competitions. Above all, Lucinda was spirit filled and a faith giant for God and instilled a love for Jesus in her children.

Mrs. Henson is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bryan Henson; her mother, Betty Simms; her children, Colton Henson, Christa Deason (Andrew), and Camryn Henson; her sisters, Reasha Brown (Tommy), and Dixie Harden (Rodney); her two grandchildren, Duke and Della; and numerous nieces and nephews.
