Mrs. Marion Breedlove, age 85 of Dickson, TN died on June 15, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Marion Lucille (Turner) Breedlove was born October 27, 1938 at General Hospital, Nashville, TN. She was the first born child to the late Elihue and Cordelia “Tory” Turner. She began her Christian journey under the late Reverend G.W. Brown and continued her spiritual journey as a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Marion was a 1957 graduate of Hampton High School and continued her education at Dickson Co. Vocational Technology, Dickson TN. On May 18, 1957 she wed Robert Henry Breedlove and blessed the world with three beautiful children.
Passionate about her family and with a heart of gold, she lived a full and fruitful life traveling, fishing, putting together Jigsaw puzzles, watching her favorite game shows, and caring for her beautiful flowers. Marion never stopped exploring the world. At the age of 82, she overcame her fear of flying and became a frequent flier — imagine that!
Marion was employed by L&C/American General insurance company in Nashville, TN for over 20 years. After retiring from L&C/American General, she spent the next 30 years of her life bringing joy to her colleagues at Charles Woodard & Associates in Dickson, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Robert Henry Breedlove, her beloved daughter Jeanene Breedlove Williams, brothers Perry and Danny Turner, great grandson (her “birthday twin”) Amarley Wilson, and her fur friend “Stewie.”
