Family and friends will gather Wednesday afternoon, September 18, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Marvin Addition of the Dickson Union Cemetery for graveside services. There will be no public visitation prior to service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Those desiring, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Harry David Beasley, age 83, of Burns, TN died peacefully September 16, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Dickson County, son of the late Wallace Wayne and Louise Kaiser Beasley. Harry was a former employee with Jamison Bedding for some 20 years and later was an upholsterer and partner with a longtime business in Dickson County, Beasley Upholstery. He retired from there after 30 years of service. They reached far and near with their clients restoring furniture pieces to their original state.
Harry was an avid golfer. He loved spending time on the course with all his golfing buddies. His main passion was his family and especially being a “Papa” to his grandkids. He loved his family dearly and will be missed immensely. Harry married the former Gayle Bear and was married for some 62 years.
Harry was survived by his wife, Gayle, his two sons; Todd (Kathy) Beasley and Troy (Vicki) Beasley, his daughter; Tonya (Jamie) Livesay, his grandchildren; Chase Livesay, Ty Beasley, Savannah Beasley, his great grandchildren, Avery Livesay and Lily Livesay, his brother; Charles (Ann) Beasley.
