Family and friends will gather on Sunday afternoon, October 6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Edgewood Cemetery for graveside funeral services. Family will share memories of Stephanie. There will be no visitation prior to services on Sunday. Place of rest will be in the Edgewood Cemetery. Those desiring, in lieu of flowers, gifts toward funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
Stephanie D. Hayes, age 50, of Dickson, TN died suddenly on October 2, 2024, at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center.
She was born in Dickson County, daughter of Larry D. and Cynthia Bellar Hayes. Stephanie was the granddaughter of the late J. C. and Earlene Bellar and James and Louise Hayes. She was also preceded in death by her aunt Marlene Hayes, her cousins, Keith Bellar and Derrick Cothern.
Stephanie was most proud of being called a “Dog Mom”. She dearly loved the support of her four-legged fur babies, Puggly Dog and Soshi Bama, who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Dickson County Senior High School and later went to work with Red Cap Industries as a machine operator, on to Odom Sausage Co. and Shiloh Industry. Stephanie was a hard worker and always gave it her best.
Stepanie had a great sense of humor and found a way to make people laugh. She loved life and truly loved her family and had that great ability to never meet a stranger.
Stephanie is survived by her parents, Larry and Cynthia Hayes of Dickson, TN, her two best friends, Candle White and Shara Tisdale. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
