Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 12:30PM at Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Matthew Hiatt will officiate. Visitation will be held at Taylor Funeral Home on Thursday morning, from 10AM until 12PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Wilma Imogene Stovall Tidwell, age 96, of Burns, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, surrounded by her children.
Imogene was born September 14, 1928, to the late William Mart Stovall and Maggie Hannah Stovall, in Cheatham County. “Miss Imogene” as she was known worked the front desk at Montgomery Bell Park Inn for 20 plus years. She was a member of the Burns Church of Christ. She was also a very proud “Red Hat” member.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jewell Tidwell, son, Don Tidwell, and brother, Dean Stovall and his wife Mary.
Survivors include her son, Eugene Tidwell of Burns, TN, her daughter, Joan Tidwell Atkeison (Jim) of Franklin, TN, her grandson, Johnathan Atkeison (Meredith) of Westminster, CO, 2 great-grandchildren, William Atkeison, Maddie Atkeison, nephews, Mart Stovall of Nashville, TN, David Stovall of White Bluff, TN, and Dean Stovall (Jennifer) of Kingston Springs, TN.
