It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian C. Fain of Burns, TN. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 76. Born in San Francisco California on September 14, 1948. Brian was a man of unwavering Christian faith. He dedicated his life to serving his country in Vietnam, his community in Los Angeles, California, and his family. He instilled in his daughter the importance of a relationship with God and values that will forever guide her life.

Brian was a true outdoorsman. He loved hunting, guns, and working on his farm. He loved elk hunting in Colorado, and became a taxidermist for many years. He loved his morning coffee, blasting Fox News and sermons from his phone, his cats, and dog Buddy. He was very active and enjoyed his walks with his brother-in-law Neil Mogge.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Hodges Fain; his daughter Heather Monroe (Robert); his granddaughters, Beverly Brown, Chloe Brown, and Allie Brown; his brother, Stephen Fain (Sacramento, California ); and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Cleo and Beverly Fain; brother, Neil Fain; and granddaughter, Holly Grace Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. The visitation with the family will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service.

The burial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rolling Hills Baptist Church, Bon Aqua, TN.
