Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, March 30, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Baggett will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday evening, March 29th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Place of rest will be in the Brown Cemetery. William Boyd DeLoach, age 78, of Dickson, TN died suddenly March 27, 2025, at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center.

He was born in Charlotte, Tennessee and was the son of the late Noah Benard and Willie Mai Story DeLoach. Boyd was a graduate of Charlotte High School, Class of 1965. After high school he was drafted into the United States Army and he proudly served his country during the time of the Vietnam War. He later was a printer for Baird Ward Printing and later worked with Quebecor Printing when he retired. He worked in the printing business for over 35 years. He was a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ. He and the love of his life Janice Brown DeLoach have been married for 58 years.

Boyd loved his wife, his sons, his daughters in law and his family and really adored and enjoyed time with his three granddaughters Haley, Taylor and Keely. He enjoyed life and the simple things. He loved his tractors, he loved many genres of music and was given the God given talent to be able to play the guitar, harmonica and the piano. Another love was the farm, tending to the cattle and enjoying growing a bountiful garden.

Boyd is survived by his wife Janice, his two sons, Dr. Stephen B. DeLoach and his wife Wendie and David C. DeLoach and his wife Angela, his sister Dorothy Spann, his three granddaughters, Haley Deloach, Taylor DeLoach and Keely DeLoach, Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Donald DeLoach.
